To connect a Windows/PC device to an office printer, please follow the directions provided below. Note that each office (with a few exceptions) uses a specific zip file and installer in order to properly connect to the office printer.
Download and Run the Installer
1. Locate your office in the list at the bottom of this page.
2. Click on the link next to your office. A new tab will then open in your web browser.
NOTE: If you experience issues accessing the download page, try right-clicking on the link and opening it in 'InPrivate/Incognito' mode.
3. Click on the 'Download' button to download the zip file to your PC.
NOTE: If you experience issues downloading the file using Chrome, please try Microsoft Edge or another browser.
4. Next, go to your PC's 'Downloads' folder to locate the downloaded file. This can be done by clicking on your browser's download icon (typically an arrow pointing down), then open your 'Downloads' folder. An alternate method for this would be to use 'File Explorer' to locate your 'Downloads' folder.
5. Right-click on the file, and then select 'Extract All...,' and then click on the 'Extract' button in the popup, but DO NOT change any of the presets.
6. Double-click on the extracted file.
7. A SmartScreen warning like the one shown below MAY appear. If it does, click the 'More info' link, and then click the 'Run anyway' button when it appears.
8. A 'User Account Control' prompt will appear next. This is normal. Click 'Yes' to continue.
9. A console window will then appear on your screen letting you know that the necessary files are downloading and installing the office printer on your PC. Please be patient! The installation is fairly quick, but it can sometimes take several minutes to complete depending on the internet connection, your device hardware, and the number of printers being installed.
10. Once the printer(s) have been installed, you'll see a confirmation box with a message letting you know the install has completed. Click 'OK' to close the box and the console window.
